RWP Team Life Updates: A Year in Review

December 17, 2025

It’s been a year full of growth and exciting changes both in and out of the office. Our space recently got a refresh with new paint, carpet, and floors, making it feel brighter and more welcoming than ever. We’ve also welcomed a new team member, Trina, who has joined us as our administrative assistant. Her positive attitude has been a wonderful addition to the office, and we’re delighted to have her on board.

As we wrap up another year in the markets and prepare for 2026, we wanted to step away from the charts and balance sheets for a moment to connect on a more personal level. This "Life Update" is a chance for our team to share what’s been happening in our worlds outside the office. From our families to yours, we wish you a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

Rich & Michele Paul

We’ve officially entered the snowbird phase of life and are set to close on a condo in Florida in the new year! Of course, we all wonder how long Michele will last away from her grandkids before making a quick trip back north—grandma priorities always win. In the meantime, we’re enjoying cheering on our grandkids at sporting events, traveling, participating in Bible study, and squeezing in the occasional round of golf.

Michelle and I have had a whirlwind of a year! Between the kids’ hockey, volleyball, and cheerleading, there’s been little downtime, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We recently celebrated our 15-year anniversary, which ended up being what might have been our only date night of the year. Between the busy days and packed schedules, the days can feel long, but the years are flying by way too fast.

Our oldest, Shay, just turned 10 and is now almost as tall as Michelle! She’s in fourth grade and has blossomed into such a sweet, thoughtful girl—always making sure everyone at school feels included. But don’t be fooled by that smile; on the volleyball court, she’s all competitive fire.

Silas has discovered his true love: hockey. Since the day he picked up a stick, he hasn’t put it down. This year he started playing travel hockey, and it doesn’t look like that’s changing anytime soon. In true hockey fashion, Silas and a few teammates have grown out “hockey mullets,” much to Michelle’s dismay. As Silas says, “You’re not a hockey bro, without the mullet flow!”

And then there’s Seth, the baby of the family, who just turned six! His personality is really shining, and he keeps everyone laughing daily. Apparently, his humor extends to the classroom too; his teacher says he’s the class clown, keeping all the kids entertained. Seth has started exploring hockey and tae kwon do, and we’re excited to see what he becomes passionate about as he grows.

All in all, it’s been a busy, messy, and wonderful year for our family—and we’re loving every chaotic minute of it!

It’s been quite a busy year for me! My wife, Rachael, launched a vineyard with her longtime friend, Lexi. It’s located in north Ann Arbor and named a2roots, so keep an eye out...there may be some homegrown wine making its way to you in a few years once the vines are producing grapes! I’ve spent many weekends as an unpaid intern, pitching in with everything from pulling weeds and pruning vines to driving posts.

Our daughter, Ozzi, has been keeping busy too and currently loves playing basketball and ice skating.

Danielle and I had exciting news in 2025 with the arrival of our third child, Claire, who was born in August. Her older siblings, Ava (6) and Ethan (4), have been overjoyed to welcome their baby sister. Ava is learning to read, working on her writing and spelling skills and all around rocking the First grade! She has joined her school Art Club, soccer and basketball teams! Ethan is loving Preschool and has made lots of new friends! He is also taking swim lessons and in the Zoo Tot program through the Detroit Zoo! Ethan has recently found his passion for watching football and I finally have a pal at home to cheer on Michigan and the Lions with! Claire is always smiling, observing and just happy to be in the mix! She is the calm to our chaos and the perfect addition to our family! Danielle and I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for our growing family. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!

We’ve been quite busy lately after moving into our new home here in Connecticut. We recently celebrated Sienna’s 9th birthday and Viviana’s 7th, and with Christmas approaching quickly, they’re both doing their best to behave. Vivi is hoping Santa will bring her a doll that looks just like her, and Sienna is asking him to help find homes for everyone who doesn’t have one.

It’s been a busy and exciting year over here. My fiancée, Rachel, and I are in full swing planning our July 2026 wedding (when she’s not selling houses!), but the real boss of the house is Winston. We welcomed our mini-bernedoodle home last year, and his energy definitely keeps us on our toes.

Beyond the wedding prep and puppy chaos, I’ve just been enjoying time with family and friends—and witnessing the greatest stretch of Lions football of my entire life. Happy Holidays and Go Lions!

Kristi Hardy

After four long years, I finally closed a major chapter of my life by completing school and earning my Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design. Outside of that milestone, life has been mostly business as usual—just with a little more free time than I’m used to. Right now, I’m enjoying the chance to catch up with friends and family, giving my cat Billy some well-deserved attention, and looking forward to what 2026 brings!

Brendan Best

This year, my girlfriend Danielle and I purchased our first home and welcomed a new addition—a Charcoal Bengal cat named Waffles! He's already made himself at home and has bonded well with our first cat, Toast. We’ve also enjoyed following Michigan State athletics and are optimistic for an (hopefully) better 2026 football season ahead. Happy Holidays!

Tristan Grinsell

I settled into a new home this year, juggling all the excitement (and chaos!) of a fresh start while getting my holiday plans wrapped up. Amid all the changes, spending time with family and friends has been the highlight of my year. Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season and a fantastic New Year!

Trina Wogaman

I'm so excited to have joined the RWP team this year! Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming! 2025 has been a milestone year, as my husband and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and our oldest daughter's wedding! In our free time my husband and I enjoy traveling, game nights with friends, and spending as much time as possible with our 2 daughters 3 grandchildren! Our family is anxiously awaiting the arrival of our 4th grandbaby this Summer! I'm looking forward to meeting many more of you this New Year!

Final Thoughts

It’s been a year full of growth, change, and a few spreadsheets we won’t miss seeing again. We’ve had our share of milestones, both at work and in our personal lives, and we’re grateful for all of it. As we head into 2026, we’re hoping for more laughter, fewer market surprises, and maybe a little extra time to enjoy the things that matter most. Here’s to embracing the year ahead with energy and optimism. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and bright 2026.
